Luxurious and manic

The long awaited 4th full length album by electro blackgaze pioneers, A Perfect Day.

Under the guise of other names (Celavi, Kenopsia etc), A Perfect Day is back in 2020 with an album ripe with holiday gloom, consumerist obsession, machine girl craving blackgaze. A project so invested in its unique aesthetic that all meaning is lost in the hopeless attempt on reviving the pseudo-painful nostalgia of mall kids with scene hair, mocha lattes, and holiday capitalist satire.

The project did not exist between 2016-2020 solely because I had been occupied with another girl, effectively making my brand of "horny-on-main-core" obsolete.

Thank you all for the support it means a whole hell of a lot. I created this album as means of closure. It is the end of A Perfect Day. Forever. I do not wish to remain stuck in the past. I want to move forwards. This is my goodbye and what better way than to release the album with featuring my favorite songs written in a time of my life that I had been completely and so manically in love with the worst person alive, who threatened me if I ever released another album under the name of A Perfect Day.
